Unfortunately the Restaurant, Lounge was closed while we were visiting..but opened the last morning we were leaving. Great breakfast. However, this Beautiful Historic Hotel is actually centrally located downtown within walking distance to both Little Italy area, The Piers on the bay and the Gaslight District so we managed to find good foid and fun

We stayed here because it was central to the weekend wedding festivities for our daughters wedding. From the moment we checked in, I knew this resort was going to be amazing. From the concierge, Leo, to the firepits to the pools to the gym. I could go on and on but all you need to know is this resort is one of the biggest and best I have stayed at.

Clean rooms and good location for a reasonable price. Inexpensive pet fee.

Great place to stay in the San Diego area, located in a high-end neighborhood inside a golf club. The rooms, which appear to have been recently and tastefully renovated, are spacious, clean, and quiet. The welcome amenities (gummy bears and nuts) are a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area. The only minor downside for us was the lack of a full sit-down breakfast service, although there are plenty of places for breakfast just a short drive away.

The room temp was a bit cool, but everything else was fine.
